The initiative aims to equip students with essential digital learning tools, supporting the integration of technology into basic education and helping bridge the digital divide in schools.

Orange Foundation,  through Orange Sierra Leone , has donated Digital School Kits to Regent Square Municipal Primary School in Freetown, Sierra Leone, as part of efforts to promote digital inclusion and improve access to quality education for young learners.

The initiative aims to equip students with essential digital learning tools, supporting the integration of technology into basic education and helping bridge the digital divide in schools.

The donation event was attended by Conrad Sackey, the Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education, and Aïcha Touré, whose presence highlighted the collaboration between government and private sector partners in advancing education reform.

According to the organisers, the initiative reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the education system through innovation and strategic partnerships. It also forms part of broader efforts by Orange Foundation to support community development and digital literacy across the country.

The programme is designed to ensure that young learners are better prepared for a technology-driven future by providing them with access to modern learning resources and digital skills at an early stage.

Orange Foundation reiterated its commitment to investing in education and empowering communities, emphasizing that “because we care” remains central to its mission in supporting social development initiatives.
