MoMo said the development reflects its broader commitment to strengthening its organisational culture while continuing to serve customers and partners across Uganda’s rapidly growing digital financial services ecosystem.

MTN Uganda ’s mobile money arm, MoMo , has officially opened its new office premises, marking what the company described as a milestone that goes beyond infrastructure expansion and reflects a stronger focus on employee wellbeing and workplace experience.

The opening ceremony brought together senior leadership and governance representatives from MTN Uganda, including Board Chair Sylvia Mulinge, board members Rachel Dumba, Simon Rutega, and Andrew John Bugembe, as well as Acting CEO Sarah Bateta Okwi and other members of the leadership team. Their presence highlighted the strategic importance of the MoMo business within the group’s wider operations.

According to the company, the new offices have been intentionally designed to improve staff wellbeing, collaboration, and day-to-day productivity. The space is intended to support both efficiency and employee engagement, with a focus on creating an environment that fosters connection, professional growth, and internal support systems.

MoMo said the development reflects its broader commitment to strengthening its organisational culture while continuing to serve customers and partners across Uganda’s rapidly growing digital financial services ecosystem. The company emphasised that investing in its people remains central to sustaining long-term performance and innovation in mobile money services.
