The collaboration is expected to support the growth of robotics, intelligent drones, and other autonomous platforms capable of operating with minimal human intervention.

e&  and Qualcomm Technologies  have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at advancing AI-powered autonomous systems across robotics and next-generation aerial technologies in the United Arab Emirates.

At the center of the partnership is the planned development of a Next-Gen Autonomous Management Platform for Physical AI. The initiative is designed to combine e&’s intelligent connectivity infrastructure with Qualcomm Technologies’ expertise in edge AI, advanced computing, and autonomous system innovation to accelerate the deployment of real-world autonomous technologies across the UAE.

The collaboration is expected to support the growth of robotics, intelligent drones, and other autonomous platforms capable of operating with minimal human intervention. By integrating AI-driven decision-making with high-performance connectivity and edge processing, the platform aims to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and scalability for industrial and commercial applications.

Both companies said the partnership reflects a broader push toward enabling smart infrastructure and digital transformation in the region. The initiative is also aligned with the UAE’s ambition to strengthen its position as a global hub for artificial intelligence, advanced mobility, and emerging technologies.

Through the collaboration, e& and Qualcomm Technologies intend to create a framework that can support autonomous operations across multiple sectors, including logistics, transportation, security, and smart city development. The companies believe combining advanced AI computing with robust communications networks will play a critical role in accelerating the adoption of autonomous systems in real-world environments.
