Batelco by Beyon Launches “Postpaid World” with Seamless Local and Global Connectivity

Batelco by Beyon has launched “Postpaid World,” a new postpaid mobile offering that allows customers to use their data and call minutes both locally and internationally through a single plan without requiring additional setup or incurring hidden roaming fees. The service starts from BD15 per month and is designed to provide customers with seamless connectivity whether they are at home or travelling abroad.
The new plans target frequent travellers, including GCC commuters and business professionals, by integrating roaming services directly into the core package at fixed monthly rates. With coverage spanning more than 140 international destinations, Postpaid World enables users to continue using their existing mobile plan while travelling without the need to switch SIM cards, activate separate roaming packages, or manage multiple eSIMs.
According to the company, the service has been developed to simplify the connectivity experience for customers who are regularly on the move. Roaming is automatically activated as part of the plan, allowing subscribers to remain connected without additional procedures or unexpected charges while travelling internationally.
Commenting on the launch, Aseel Mattar said the company introduced the service to address common challenges faced by travellers when managing mobile connectivity abroad. She noted that many customers experience inconvenience when activating roaming services or using additional eSIMs across different countries.
Mattar stated that the new plans allow customers to use their data and call minutes seamlessly both at home and overseas as part of a single package, making international travel more convenient and hassle-free. She added that the offering removes one of the common concerns associated with travelling by ensuring uninterrupted connectivity without extra complications.
As part of the Postpaid World offering, the BD15 plan includes 15GB of local and roaming data, unlimited local social media access, unlimited minutes to Batelco numbers, and 150 minutes for calls to other local operators and roaming usage. The BD30 plan provides 40GB of local and roaming data, unlimited local social media access, unlimited Batelco minutes, and 400 minutes for other local operators and roaming calls.
