The agreement underscores a shared commitment among the institutions to equip young people with the knowledge and practical experience required to succeed in an increasingly digital economy.

MTN Rwanda  has formalized a partnership with Kepler College  and University of Rwanda  aimed at advancing education, innovation, and skills development for the country’s future workforce.

The agreement underscores a shared commitment among the institutions to equip young people with the knowledge and practical experience required to succeed in an increasingly digital economy. Through closer collaboration between academia and industry, the partners intend to help bridge the gap between classroom learning and workplace demands.

MTN Rwanda said the partnership is designed to create pathways that provide students with greater access to opportunities, industry exposure, and skills development, preparing them for emerging careers in the digital age.

The telecommunications company emphasized that meaningful partnerships play a critical role in driving sustainable progress and expanding opportunities for young people. By working alongside higher education institutions, MTN Rwanda aims to contribute to the development of a workforce capable of supporting the country’s digital transformation agenda.

The initiative also reflects broader efforts to promote innovation, strengthen talent development, and foster a more connected and inclusive society. The partners said the collaboration represents an investment in the next generation of leaders and innovators who will help shape Rwanda’s future.

Through the partnership, MTN Rwanda, Kepler College, and the University of Rwanda hope to support economic growth and enhance employability by ensuring students gain skills that align with the evolving needs of industry and the digital economy.
