Ghana’s Communications Minister Donates Laptops to Parliament to Support Digital Operations

The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations,  Samuel Nartey George, has donated a number of laptops to Ghana’s Parliament as part of efforts to strengthen digital operations within the legislative institution.

The presentation took place at the Ministry’s conference room in Accra, where the equipment was formally handed over to parliamentary representatives. The initiative forms part of the Ministry’s broader agenda to promote digital transformation and enhance the use of technology across public sector institutions.

Parliamentary officials who received the laptops expressed appreciation for the support and assured the Ministry that the devices would be utilized to improve operational efficiency and support parliamentary activities.

The donation aligns with ongoing government efforts to modernize public institutions through technology adoption and improved digital access. By equipping key institutions with digital tools, the Ministry aims to strengthen service delivery, improve productivity, and support the country’s wider digital transformation objectives.
