Yas Tanzania Debuts Managed SD-WAN Service to Enhance Business Network Performance and Security
The new managed SD-WAN solution is designed to give enterprises greater control over increasingly complex network environments by integrating multiple connectivity technologies, including MPLS, broadband, and LTE, into a single intelligent network.
Yas Tanzania has launched what it says is the country’s first fully managed Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) service, a move aimed at helping businesses improve connectivity, network performance, and security across multiple locations.
The new managed SD-WAN solution is designed to give enterprises greater control over increasingly complex network environments by integrating multiple connectivity technologies, including MPLS, broadband, and LTE, into a single intelligent network. The platform dynamically manages traffic in real time, helping organizations maintain performance, reduce disruptions, and improve application availability across branches and remote sites.
According to Yas Tanzania, the service provides centralized network management, automated policy controls, and real-time analytics, enabling businesses to monitor and optimize network operations while reducing the burden on internal IT teams. The company says the solution is intended to support organizations as they expand their digital operations and adopt cloud-based services.
The offering is expected to deliver several business benefits, including lower operational costs, improved network resilience, enhanced security, and greater flexibility in scaling connectivity as business requirements evolve. By combining different network access technologies under a single management framework, companies can maintain more reliable connections while improving visibility into network performance.
The launch reflects growing demand among enterprises for software-defined networking solutions that can support digital transformation initiatives, hybrid work environments, and cloud adoption. As organizations increasingly rely on distributed operations and data-intensive applications, SD-WAN technology has emerged as a key tool for improving network efficiency and reducing dependence on traditional wide-area network architectures.
Through its Yas Business division, Yas Tanzania said the new service forms part of its broader strategy to provide advanced digital solutions for businesses and support the development of Tanzania’s digital economy.
