Madagascar Reviews Progress on DECIM and PRODIGY Digital Transformation Projects
The DECIM project was noted to be progressing according to its established work plan, with the Ministry playing a central role in coordinating and monitoring implementation activities to ensure alignment with national digital transformation objectives.
Ministry of Digital Development, Posts and Telecommunications (MNDPT) has held a monitoring session in Anosy on June 19, 2026, to assess the progress of key digital transformation initiatives funded under the DECIM and PRODIGY projects supported by the World Bank.
The meeting brought together officials from the Ministry, led by Mr. Mahefa Andriamampiadana, alongside representatives from the World Bank, including Permanent Representative Mr. Atou Seck, as well as other government stakeholders involved in the implementation of the projects.
The discussions focused on evaluating the current status of project execution, reviewing priorities, and aligning necessary arrangements to ensure the successful delivery of both initiatives, which are central to Madagascar’s digital transformation and public sector modernization agenda.

The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with partners to complete the final phase successfully, while ensuring the sustainability of reforms aimed at improving public service delivery and advancing Madagascar’s digital development goals.
