The new cohort emerged from a highly competitive global selection process that attracted 376 applications from 62 countries, highlighting the growing international interest in applied AI innovation and the UAE’s expanding role in the sector.

Presight,  a leading global provider of applied artificial intelligence solutions for intelligent systems, has announced the 12 companies selected for the second cohort of its AI Accelerator programme. The new cohort emerged from a highly competitive global selection process that attracted 376 applications from 62 countries, highlighting the growing international interest in applied AI innovation and the UAE’s expanding role in the sector.

Following an extensive evaluation process, 33 companies were shortlisted. These companies collectively hold a valuation exceeding $2.1 billion and have raised more than $341 million in funding. Sixteen finalists were subsequently invited to participate in virtual Pitch Days held in early June, where they presented their technologies and business strategies before a panel of industry experts. Ultimately, 12 startups were selected based on their innovation, scalability, and alignment with the programme’s strategic objectives.

The selected companies represent a broad range of industries, including AI security, climate intelligence, healthcare, infrastructure, and enterprise technology. The Cohort II participants include AIM Intelligence, AIRMO, AITRICS, Dtonic, Featherless AI, FlyNex, FortyGuard, MangoBoost, rahd·AI, TheStage AI, Transparently.AI, and Trust Exam. These startups originate from several countries, including South Korea, the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Kazakhstan, and Luxembourg.

The final selection was made by a distinguished jury comprising senior executives from Presight, representatives from the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, and experts from the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI). The evaluation process focused on technological excellence, commercial potential, and the ability to address real-world challenges through artificial intelligence.

Participants in the accelerator programme will receive access to Presight’s technical expertise and the wider ecosystem of G42. Founders will benefit from mentorship opportunities, connections with regional and international partners, and engagement with Presight’s international advisory network. The programme also offers pathways to commercial partnerships and potential investment opportunities through Presight’s venture investment arm.

The Cohort II bootcamp is scheduled to take place in the UAE in the coming months. The initiative reflects Presight’s continued commitment to building a strong AI ecosystem in Abu Dhabi and supporting the development of technologies that can be deployed at scale. Through the programme, the company aims to accelerate the growth of innovative startups while contributing to the UAE’s ambition to become a global centre for applied and sovereign artificial intelligence.

Commenting on the announcement, Presight Chief Executive Officer Thomas Pramotedham said the accelerator programme is helping to strengthen the UAE’s position as a leading hub for AI innovation. He noted that the initiative enables emerging companies to transform promising technologies into scalable solutions capable of delivering meaningful impact across industries and markets worldwide.
