The business will be able to offer more technology services in Uganda, including cloud, AI, cybersecurity, networking and managed services. This will help firms in Uganda to invest more in technology to grow.

Dimension Data Uganda officially announced its transition to the NTT DATA  brand. This is a big step in the company’s growth and strengthens its commitment to supporting Uganda’s digital transformation goals.

The transition reflects the company’s integration into NTT DATA, a global leader in AI, digital business and technology services. The business will be able to offer more technology services in Uganda, including cloud, AI, cybersecurity, networking and managed services. This will help firms in Uganda to invest more in technology to grow.

Uganda’s digital economy continues to gain momentum, driven by growing adoption of digital financial services, increased government focus on e-services, expanding internet connectivity and rising demand for secure digital infrastructure across sectors including banking, telecommunications, manufacturing, education and healthcare. At the same time, companies are being pressured to update old systems, improve cybersecurity and use new technologies like AI to improve efficiency and customer experience.

“The move to NTT DATA will help us deliver broader technology solutions that meet the evolving needs of businesses in Uganda. By combining our strong local expertise with NTT DATA’s global capabilities, we can help organisations accelerate digital transformation with secure, scalable and AI-driven technologies that improve operational efficiency, resilience and long-term growth.”

Euniah Nyandieka, Uganda Country Manager, NTT DATA

According to Nyandieka, the transition reflects both the growth of the business locally and its ambition to play a bigger role in enabling innovation across Uganda.

“This marks an important milestone for our business in Uganda and reflects both how far we have come and where we are going. As NTT DATA, we are strengthening our commitment to clients and partners by combining deep local market understanding with broader global capabilities, stronger innovation ecosystems and advanced technical expertise to help organisations accelerate their digital transformation journeys.”
