Airtel Money Uganda Partners with SPIRO to Electrify Last-Mile Distribution

The partnership introduces an affordable, interest-free repayment model that enables Airtel Franchise Partners to acquire electric motorcycles, helping them reduce operating costs, improve productivity, and enhance customer service.

Airtel Money Uganda  has partnered with SPIRO  to expand the adoption of electric motorcycles across its franchise network, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable and efficient last-mile distribution.

The partnership introduces an affordable, interest-free repayment model that enables Airtel Franchise Partners to acquire electric motorcycles, helping them reduce operating costs, improve productivity, and enhance customer service.

Speaking at the launch, Airtel Money Uganda Managing Director Japhet Aritho highlighted the company’s focus on combining business growth with sustainability.

“As Airtel continues to grow, so does our responsibility to ensure that our products and services reach customers faster, more efficiently and in an environmentally friendly manner. Our Franchise Partners are the backbone of our distribution network, and today we are investing in them. By making electric motorcycles more accessible, we are helping our partners become more productive, reduce their operating costs, and together protect our planet.”
