The partnership is designed to empower youth, women, and local enterprises by creating opportunities that strengthen livelihoods and promote sustainable economic development.

KCB Foundation  has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Baringo South National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF)  to expand access to skills development, financial inclusion, education, enterprise support, and green growth initiatives in Kenya.

The partnership is designed to empower youth, women, and local enterprises by creating opportunities that strengthen livelihoods and promote sustainable economic development. It aligns with the partners’ shared commitment to fostering inclusive growth through capacity building and community empowerment.

Under the agreement, the two organizations will equip young people with market-relevant skills in sectors including tourism, hospitality, climate change, dryland resource management, and livestock and leather product development. The initiative also seeks to improve employability and entrepreneurship among local communities.

The collaboration will further strengthen support for women-led businesses and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) through financial literacy programmes, business development services, and improved access to affordable financial solutions.

In the education sector, the partnership will continue investing in deserving learners through the Senior School Scholarship Programme to help ensure financial barriers do not prevent students from accessing quality education.

The initiative also incorporates environmental sustainability by promoting clean energy solutions in schools through financing for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and solar energy systems, helping create safer and more sustainable learning environments.

KCB Foundation said the partnership reflects its broader mission of enabling economic opportunity and supporting community development through strategic collaborations that drive long-term social and economic impact.
