Airtel Money Zambia Appoints Kelvin Ndhlovu as Managing Director
In his new role, Ndhlovu will oversee Airtel Money Zambia's next phase of growth, with a focus on expanding digital financial services, driving innovation and advancing financial inclusion across the country.
Airtel Mobile Commerce Zambia Limited (Airtel Money) has announced the appointment of Kelvin Ndhlovu as its new Managing Director, effective 1 July 2026. He succeeds Andrew Chuma, who has taken up a new leadership position within the Airtel Africa Group.
Before his appointment, Ndhlovu served as Group Head of Decision Support for Airtel Money Africa, where he provided strategic leadership and performance oversight across Airtel Money’s operations in 14 African markets. The company said he brings extensive experience in telecommunications, financial technology, corporate governance and business transformation.
In his new role, Ndhlovu will oversee Airtel Money Zambia’s next phase of growth, with a focus on expanding digital financial services, driving innovation and advancing financial inclusion across the country.
According to the company, the appointment reflects Airtel Africa’s commitment to developing internal talent and promoting leadership from within. Airtel Africa said the move aligns with its succession planning strategy aimed at supporting sustainable growth across its operations.
Airtel Money Zambia also expressed appreciation for the contributions of outgoing Managing Director Andrew Chuma during his tenure and wished him success in his new leadership role within the Airtel Africa Group.
