The authority said recent progress in broadband expansion, the establishment of Digital Hubs and the enhancement of digital public services demonstrates the government's continued commitment to building an inclusive digital economy.

The Technopolis Development Authority (TDA)  has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the rollout of Kenya’s Digital Superhighway, highlighting the initiative’s role in expanding digital infrastructure, improving connectivity and creating new economic opportunities across the country.

The authority said recent progress in broadband expansion, the establishment of Digital Hubs and the enhancement of digital public services demonstrates the government’s continued commitment to building an inclusive digital economy. These developments are expected to improve access to digital services while supporting innovation, entrepreneurship and socio-economic growth.

As the agency responsible for developing Konza Technopolis, the Technopolis Development Authority said it will continue to contribute to the national digital transformation agenda by supporting the development of world-class digital infrastructure, fostering innovation ecosystems and advancing smart city solutions.

The authority added that its efforts are aimed at strengthening Konza Technopolis’ position as Kenya’s flagship smart city and innovation hub, helping drive the country’s broader ambitions to become a leading digital economy in Africa through enhanced connectivity, technology adoption and innovation-led development.
