UN Youth Affairs and ITU Sign Joint Declaration on Youth-Inclusive Digital Policies

The United Nations Youth Office and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) have signed a Joint Declaration aimed at strengthening collaboration on youth-inclusive digital policies and increasing young people’s participation in shaping the future of digital governance.
Announcing the agreement, United Nations Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs Felipe Paullier said the declaration marks an important milestone in the partnership between the UN Youth Office and the ITU. The collaboration will focus on promoting digital policies that are inclusive of young people, advancing youth digital well-being and ensuring that young voices play a meaningful role in technology governance.
