Airtel Money Madagascar and Baobab Bank Partner to Expand Mobile Banking Services

Airtel Money Madagascar has entered into a partnership with Baobab Bank to strengthen digital financial services and improve access to banking across Madagascar.
The collaboration integrates Baobab Bank into Airtel Money’s Mbanking service, enabling Baobab Bank customers to access a range of banking services directly through the Airtel Money platform. At the same time, Airtel Money users can securely transfer funds from their mobile wallets to their Baobab Bank accounts, providing a more seamless connection between mobile money and traditional banking.
The service is now operational and can be accessed using the USSD code *436*5# or through the My Baobab mobile application.
According to Airtel Madagascar, the partnership reflects the two companies’ shared commitment to advancing financial inclusion by making banking and digital financial services more accessible, convenient and secure for customers across the country.
