MTN Ghana Expands Digital Learning with New ICT and Robotics Centre

The MTN Ghana Foundation has commissioned a new ICT and Robotics Centre at Asafo M/A Basic School in the Asokwa Municipality, marking another milestone in its efforts to promote digital education and equip young learners with future-ready skills.
The newly inaugurated facility is designed to provide students with access to information and communication technology (ICT) resources and robotics education, helping them develop the digital competencies needed to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world. The initiative underscores the Foundation’s commitment to fostering innovation and expanding access to quality STEM education across Ghana.
By introducing ICT and robotics training at the basic school level, the centre will enable students to gain practical experience in coding, problem-solving, critical thinking, and emerging technologies. The project is expected to inspire creativity while preparing learners for future academic and career opportunities in the digital economy.
