Telecom Namibia Renews Armando Perny’s Acting CEO Appointment for Six Months

Telecom Namibia remains committed to strengthening its network, expanding digital connectivity, and supporting Namibia's socio-economic development through world-class telecommunications and ICT services.

Telecom Namibia  is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has extended the acting appointment of Mr Armando Perny as Acting Chief Executive Officer, for a period of six months, commencing 1 August 2026 and ending on 31 January 2027.

The extension ensures continuity of leadership while the Company continues to advance its strategic priorities, strengthen operational performance, and deliver on its mandate to provide reliable telecommunications services to customers across Namibia.

Since assuming the role in an acting capacity, Mr. Perny has provided leadership and oversight across the business, supporting the Company’s ongoing transformation initiatives and commitment to service excellence.

The Board remains confident in the leadership team’s ability to drive the execution of Telecom Namibia’s strategic objectives while maintaining focus on customer experience, operational efficiency, innovation, and stakeholder value.
