Côte d’Ivoire Launches Ivoire Tech Next 15 and Scale UP to Accelerate Startup Growth

The Government of Côte d’Ivoire has officially launched the Ivoire Tech Next 15 and Ivoire Tech Scale UP programmes, marking a major initiative to accelerate the country’s digital innovation ecosystem by supporting high-potential startups and technology-focused SMEs.

The programmes will support 15 innovative startups and 15 technology SMEs over a 24-month period through structured capacity-building, mentorship, and business development support. The initiative is designed to strengthen participating companies and prepare them for sustainable growth.

A key objective of the programmes is to facilitate the mobilization of between 5 billion and 10 billion CFA francs in financing from banks, investment funds, and development partners. By improving participating companies’ investment readiness, the initiative aims to unlock greater access to capital for Côte d’Ivoire’s emerging technology sector.

The launch underscores the country’s commitment to advancing its digital economy by fostering innovation, supporting technology entrepreneurship, and creating an enabling environment for startups and SMEs to scale. Through Ivoire Tech Next 15 and Ivoire Tech Scale UP, Côte d’Ivoire is seeking to accelerate the growth of its digital ecosystem and position its technology sector for long-term economic development.
