MTN South Africa to Invest R332 Million in Limpopo Network Expansion
MTN South Africa said the investment reflects its commitment to connecting more people, creating opportunities and helping build a more inclusive digital future across the country.
MTN South Africa has reaffirmed its commitment to expanding digital connectivity in Limpopo, announcing plans to invest R332 million in network infrastructure across the province during 2026.
The announcement followed a multi-stakeholder engagement visit to Limpopo led by Deputy Chief Executive Officer Yolanda Cuba and members of the company’s executive team.
During the visit, the delegation met with Dieketseng Masesi Mashego and John Mpe to strengthen collaboration on initiatives aimed at advancing digital inclusion and supporting socio-economic development in the province.
MTN said the planned investment will be used to enhance connectivity, expand 5G coverage and modernise network infrastructure across Limpopo. The company added that the initiative forms part of its broader strategy to improve access to digital services and support inclusive economic growth.
In addition to infrastructure development, the MTN SA Foundation will continue implementing programmes focused on education, digital inclusion and youth skills development, reinforcing the operator’s efforts to empower communities through technology.
