MTN MoMo Uganda and dfcu Bank Reaffirm Partnership to Strengthen Digital Finance

MTN MoMo said the discussions centred on developing solutions that can simplify everyday transactions, improve access to financial services and support businesses across Uganda.

MTN MoMo Uganda  and dfcu Bank Uganda  have reaffirmed their partnership as the two institutions explore opportunities to strengthen Uganda’s digital financial ecosystem and expand value for customers, merchants and agents.

The engagement took place at MTN MoMo Uganda’s head office, where a dfcu Bank delegation led by Chief Executive Officer Charles Mudiwa met with MTN MoMo’s leadership team led by Managing Director Phrase Lubega.

The meeting focused on the progress of the partnership and opportunities to align on shared priorities as demand for accessible digital financial services continues to grow.

MTN MoMo said the discussions centred on developing solutions that can simplify everyday transactions, improve access to financial services and support businesses across Uganda.

The companies also highlighted the importance of collaboration in extending financial services to more communities, supporting business growth and strengthening networks connecting customers, merchants and agents.

The engagement builds on an established relationship between MTN MoMo Uganda and dfcu Bank, with both sides signalling their intention to deepen cooperation and create greater value through digital financial solutions.
