August 19, 2026
1 min read

The dividend was approved by the company’s Board of Directors and remains subject to applicable withholding tax deductions.

MTN Nigeria  Communications Plc has declared an interim dividend of ₦26 per 2 kobo ordinary share for the half-year period ended June 30, 2026.

The dividend was approved by the company’s Board of Directors and remains subject to applicable withholding tax deductions. The announcement was signed by MTN Nigeria Company Secretary Uto Ukpanah and issued on July 30, 2026.

Shareholders must be listed in the company’s Register of Members by the close of business on August 20, 2026, to qualify for the dividend. The register will close from August 21 as the company completes the payment process.

Dividend payments are scheduled to commence on September 7, 2026, with funds to be transferred electronically into the bank accounts of eligible shareholders who have completed their e-dividend registration mandates with Coronation Registrars Limited.

MTN Nigeria advised shareholders who have not yet registered for e-dividend payments, as well as those with outstanding unclaimed dividends, to regularise their accounts through Coronation Registrars or contact the company’s investor relations team.

The interim payout provides eligible MTN Nigeria shareholders with a direct cash distribution following the company’s financial performance for the first half of 2026.
