CA said continued partnerships will contribute to a more informed, secure and resilient communications sector while supporting Kenya’s digital transformation and its vision of Digital Access for All.

The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA)  has highlighted the importance of partnerships and knowledge exchange in strengthening the country’s digital ecosystem and building a secure, resilient and sustainable communications sector.

The regulator said collaboration with public institutions, industry stakeholders and other partners enables it to share technical expertise, strengthen institutional capacity and improve understanding of emerging opportunities and risks in the digital environment.

As part of this approach, CA hosted a benchmark visit by students from the Kenya Naval Training School, providing trainees with practical exposure to key areas of communications regulation, including cybersecurity, standards and spectrum management.

During the engagement, the trainees received insights into cyber threat management and secure digital operations, with a focus on safeguarding communications networks and services against emerging threats.

The session also covered spectrum monitoring, interference detection and resolution, highlighting the role of effective spectrum management in maintaining reliable connectivity and protecting critical communications services.

CA said such knowledge-sharing initiatives are increasingly important as digital technologies become more integrated into public services, economic activity and national security.

The Authority added that stakeholder engagement remains central to effective regulation, providing opportunities to exchange technical and regulatory knowledge while strengthening the collective capacity needed to respond to a rapidly changing communications environment.

CA said continued partnerships will contribute to a more informed, secure and resilient communications sector while supporting Kenya’s digital transformation and its vision of Digital Access for All.
