The partnership reflects MTN Uganda’s continued collaboration with government and the private sector to support the country’s national transformation and industrialisation agenda.

MTN Uganda  has renewed its partnership with the Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU)  as Platinum Sponsor of the Annual Regional Industrialisation Conference 2026 (RIC2026), marking the third consecutive year the telecom operator has supported the event.

The partnership reflects MTN Uganda’s continued collaboration with government and the private sector to support the country’s national transformation and industrialisation agenda.

Uganda is targeting the growth of its economy to US$500 billion by 2040, a goal that will require increased productivity, competitiveness and stronger connections to regional and global markets.

MTN Uganda said it is contributing to this ambition through investments in network infrastructure, digital platforms and financial services designed to help businesses reach customers, process transactions, access markets and participate more effectively in the wider economy.

The company said it will continue investing in the digital infrastructure needed to support business growth and connect Uganda to opportunities across the region and globally.

MTN Uganda also recognised PSFU’s role in bringing together stakeholders and advancing Uganda’s private sector development over the past three decades
