The fibre service is currently available in Ilazo, Ipagala, Swaswa, Mjini Kati and Barabara za Namba, with Yas planning to progressively extend coverage to additional parts of Dodoma as demand increases.

Yas Tanzania  has officially launched Yas Fiber in Dodoma, expanding access to high-speed fibre connectivity for homes, businesses and institutions in Tanzania’s growing capital.

The launch brought together government officials, customers and members of the Dodoma community, including Dodoma District Commissioner Jabir Shekimweri, who highlighted the importance of reliable digital infrastructure as the city continues to expand.

Yas Fiber CEO Maxime Woimant said the company is committed to supporting Dodoma’s digital transformation by providing reliable connectivity that enables residents and businesses to work, learn, operate more efficiently and access digital services.

The fibre service is currently available in Ilazo, Ipagala, Swaswa, Mjini Kati and Barabara za Namba, with Yas planning to progressively extend coverage to additional parts of Dodoma as demand increases.

Yas Tanzania said the expansion is intended to support broader digital opportunities across the city, including access to online learning, new markets for entrepreneurs, more efficient business operations and digital services for households.

The company said its investment in Dodoma reflects its broader commitment to expanding reliable connectivity as the city grows and strengthening the role of digital infrastructure in Tanzania’s economic and social development.
