Safaricom Ethiopia Opens 10th Gondar Shop to Boost Customer Access

Safaricom Ethiopia Telecommunications PLC has opened its 10th retail shop in Gondar city as part of efforts to expand access to its services and improve customer experience in the city.
The new outlet was officially opened in the presence of Safaricom Ethiopia Chief Commercial Officer Amit Chandiramani, marking another step in the company’s expansion of its retail footprint in Gondar.
To celebrate the relaunch, Safaricom Ethiopia is offering customers a 30 percent bonus on every top-up for the next three months, providing an incentive for customers to use its services during the promotional period.
The company also conducted a market visit as part of the shop-opening activities, allowing its leadership team to engage directly with local residents and businesses.
During the visit, Safaricom executives met with distributors, merchants and members of the ground sales team to discuss progress, challenges and opportunities in the local market.
Safaricom Ethiopia said the feedback gathered from these engagements will help strengthen local partnerships, address challenges and improve customer support as it continues to expand its presence in Gondar.
