Orange Côte d’Ivoire Partners Disability Groups to Advance Digital Inclusion
The partnership forms part of Orange Côte d’Ivoire’s broader digital inclusion efforts, using technology and connectivity to support greater participation and opportunity for people with disabilities.
Orange Côte d’Ivoire has reaffirmed its commitment to digital inclusion with the inauguration of the rehabilitated and digitally equipped headquarters of the Coordination of Associations of Disabled People of Côte d’Ivoire (CAPH CI) in Abobo Sogephia.
The inauguration ceremony, held on September 4, was attended by Orange Côte d’Ivoire’s Director of Sustainable Engagement and Partnerships, Catherine Assanvo, and CAPH CI President Koné Yacouba.
As part of the initiative, Orange Côte d’Ivoire and CAPH CI signed a partnership focused on promoting the autonomy of people with disabilities, access to digital technology and equal opportunities.
The telecommunications operator said the initiative reflects its commitment to ensuring that digital technology is accessible to everyone and that no segment of society is left behind in the country’s digital transformation.
