Moro Hub Launches e-Invoicing Solution as UAE Prepares for 2027 Mandate

September 15, 2026

Author: Kay-Lyne Wolfenden

The solution is designed to support regulatory compliance, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen trust in digital transactions.

The Data Hub Integrated Solutions (Moro Hub) , a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), has launched its e-Invoicing solution, enabling government and private sector organisations to create, manage, validate, and exchange structured electronic invoices within a secure, compliant, and scalable digital environment. The solution is designed to support regulatory compliance, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen trust in digital transactions.

The launch comes as the UAE advances the phased implementation of its e-Invoicing framework. Organisations with annual revenues exceeding AED 50 million are required to appoint an accredited service provider by 30 October 2026, with mandatory implementation from 1 January 2027.

“The launch of Moro’s e-Invoicing solution represents a significant step in supporting government and private sector organisations across the UAE as they transition towards a more integrated, efficient, and future-ready digital financial ecosystem. This transformation extends beyond regulatory compliance, presenting a strategic opportunity to redesign invoicing and financial reporting processes on a smarter, more streamlined, and transparent foundation. Through this solution, we provide a trusted platform hosted on Moro Cloud and underpinned by Moro’s green data centres, that combines compliance, security, data sovereignty, and operational efficiency, enabling organisations to accelerate their readiness while strengthening business continuity within an advanced digital environment. The solution is designed to enable organisations to create, validate, digitally sign, and exchange structured electronic invoices within an integrated operating model that supports future scalability and evolving regulatory requirements. It is underpinned by the advanced digital infrastructure of Moro’s green data centers, enhancing service reliability, ensuring data remains within the UAE, and supporting the country’s ambitions to build a more mature, resilient, and competitive digital economy.”

– Mohammed Bin Sulaiman, CEO, Moro Hub

The solution provides a secure, compliant, and scalable platform for end-to-end UAE electronic invoicing enabling structured digital invoice generation aligned with PINT-AE specifications, FTA-aligned validation and seamless exchange, digital signature enablement, and secure electronic exchange through the Peppol 5-Corner Model. It also enables Real-Time Status and Confirmation Tracking, High-Volume Transaction Processing, and 24×7 Secure Infrastructure Availability. In addition, the solution supports enterprise resource planning (ERP) environments, with strong SAP delivery capabilities while remaining integration-agnostic to support non-SAP ERP and data source environments.

This launch aligns with the UAE’s vision to build a more transparent, efficient, and integrated digital financial ecosystem, as the Ministry of Finance advances the phased implementation of the country’s e-Invoicing framework. The pilot phase is set to commence in July 2026, followed by mandatory implementation from January 2027 for organisations with annual revenues exceeding AED 50 million.
