NEXUS and Fasset Sign MOU on Stablecoin-Based Financial Infrastructure
Under the agreement, the two companies will review cooperation across payment infrastructure integration, stablecoin settlement, and co-branded digital financial products.
NEXUS CEO Henry Chang signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Fasset FZE, a Dubai-based digital finance company, at Korea Blockchain Week (KBW 2026) on September 30, covering cooperation on stablecoin-based financial infrastructure.
Under the agreement, the two companies will review cooperation across payment infrastructure integration, stablecoin settlement, and co-branded digital financial products.
In payments, they will pursue a joint proof-of-concept (PoC) connecting NEXUS’s payment infrastructure with Fasset’s fiat–digital asset conversion infrastructure. In stablecoins, they will form a joint task force, meeting quarterly, to define the direction of cooperation on AED-linked and KRW-linked stablecoin infrastructure.
Fasset is an AI-powered, stablecoin-based digital finance platform headquartered in Dubai. It obtained a VASP license from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) in 2023 and provides digital asset services under it.
In August, Fasset raised a $68 million Series C led by SBI Group at a $1 billion valuation. It supports more than 3 million wallets and over 1,000 enterprise clients across 125 countries, operating payment and settlement infrastructure that connects multiple financial rails.
NEXUS is building infrastructure connecting distribution, payment, and settlement for games and digital content through the ONE ecosystem. In June, it brought ONE Store in as a subsidiary, securing a content distribution base, and is extending its fiat-centered payment infrastructure into stablecoins.
“This partnership is about bringing any-to-any banking closer to reality: connecting payments, settlement and different financial rails so value can move more seamlessly across markets. Stablecoins are an important part of that shift because they give us a more flexible way to connect currencies, assets and networks around real economic activity.”
– Mohammad Raafi Hossain, CEO, Fasset
“The competitiveness of a stablecoin comes from actual use cases and distribution, not from issuance itself. This partnership connects Fasset’s global payment and settlement infrastructure to the ONE ecosystem. Together we will broaden the payment foundation for global expansion.”
– Henry, CEO, NEXUS
