MTN Zambia Launches Sign Language Interpreter Videos to Improve Customer Accessibility
MTN Zambia said the Sign Language Interpreter Videos will be rolled out across its service centres to strengthen communication and improve access to its services for customers with hearing impairments.
MTN Zambia has launched Sign Language Interpreter Videos at its Levy Mall Service Centre as part of efforts to improve accessibility and inclusion for customers who are deaf or hard of hearing.
The launch was attended by representatives from the Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) , the Zambia Agency for Persons with Disabilities (ZAPD), and the Translators and Sign Language Interpreters Association of Zambia.
MTN Zambia said the Sign Language Interpreter Videos will be rolled out across its service centres to strengthen communication and improve access to its services for customers with hearing impairments.
The initiative is intended to enable customers who are deaf or hard of hearing to engage with MTN Zambia’s services with greater independence and confidence. The company said the rollout forms part of its broader accessibility and inclusion efforts.
MTN Zambia added that the initiative reflects its commitment to creating a more inclusive customer experience and ensuring that people with disabilities can participate more fully in the digital world.
