Blu Label Discloses R74.5 Million in Director-Related Share Dealings

South African telecommunications and technology group Blu Label Unlimited Group has disclosed two securities transactions involving associates of its directors and a director of one of its major subsidiaries.
In a regulatory filing under the JSE Listings Requirements, the company said BSC Technologies Proprietary Limited received 10 million Blu Label ordinary shares on September 28, 2026, following the close-out of a contract for difference.
The off-market transaction was physically settled through the delivery of the underlying shares at R7.35 per share, giving the transaction a total value of R73.5 million. BSC Technologies is associated with Blu Label directors Mr MS Levy and Mr BM Levy, who are both directors of the company.
Blu Label said the shares acquired by BSC Technologies were attributed equally to the two directors and that the transaction did not change their aggregate indirect beneficial interest in the company. Clearance for the transaction was obtained in advance in accordance with JSE requirements.
Separately, Ms DA Simba, a director of Blu Label Distribution Proprietary Limited, a major subsidiary of Blu Label, sold 135,611 Blu Label ordinary shares on-market on September 28.
The shares were sold at a volume-weighted average price of R7.3192 per share, with prices ranging from R7.27 to R7.41. The transaction had a total value of R992,564.03.
The company said Simba’s interest in the shares was direct and beneficial, and clearance for the transaction was also obtained in advance in accordance with the JSE Listings Requirements.
