Zamtel said the new solutions are part of its efforts to develop homegrown digital products through Zamtel and Zamtel Money, while expanding access to connectivity and financial services across Zambia.

Zamtel  has unveiled its MyZamtel Super App alongside two Zambia-first innovations, Create Your Own Bundle and Kongola Malaiti, as it seeks to give customers greater control over connectivity and digital financial services.

The enhanced MyZamtel Super App allows customers to access Zamtel services and create personalised bundles based on their individual needs. The company said the platform is designed to provide greater convenience and control over how customers connect and use its services.

Zamtel also introduced Kongola Malaiti, which allows customers to access the service through *115#, bringing digital financial services closer to everyday users through a convenient USSD channel.

Speaking at the launch, Dr. Brilliant Habeenzu, Permanent Secretary at Zambia’s Ministry of Technology and Science, said technology and innovation have an important role to play in supporting Zambia’s economic growth and the government’s Grow Zambia Agenda.

Zamtel said the new solutions are part of its efforts to develop homegrown digital products through Zamtel and Zamtel Money, while expanding access to connectivity and financial services across Zambia.
