Bede Bahrain Launches Multi-Currency World Prepaid Mastercard With SINNAD

The premium digital-first prepaid card is designed to provide customers with greater flexibility and convenience when spending locally, internationally and online, further expanding Bede’s digital financial services offering.

Bede Bahrain,  the innovative microfinance solutions app, has announced the launch of its new Multi-Currency World Prepaid Card, in partnership with SINNAD, a subsidiary of The BENEFIT Company  and a leading provider of card processing and payment services in the MENA region, and Mastercard, a global technology company in the payments industry and a leading provider of innovative digital payment solutions worldwide.

The premium digital-first prepaid card is designed to provide customers with greater flexibility and convenience when spending locally, internationally and online, further expanding Bede’s digital financial services offering.

Bede app enables customers to manage and exchange six supported currencies – BHD, USD, GBP, EUR, SAR and AED – through the Bede App at competitive rates. Customers can apply through the app, access an instantly issued virtual card, and manage their card digitally.

As part of the launch, the first 1,000 customers who successfully apply through the Bede App will receive BD10 credited to their card as a welcome gift.

As a World Mastercard, the card provides access to a range of travel, dining, shopping and lifestyle benefits, including access to more than 1,300 airport lounges worldwide, as well as selected hotel and travel offers.

Customers can apply for the card through the Bede App, subject to eligibility and applicable terms and conditions, where they can complete the onboarding process, load funds and manage their card digitally.
