The initiative will leverage Airtel’s mobile communications platform to provide citizens with timely updates on road safety campaigns, traffic management measures, transport advisories and other information intended to support safer roads and more informed communities.

Airtel Seychelles  has announced a partnership with the Ministry of Transport, Ports and Civil Aviation  to promote road safety awareness and improve public access to transport-related information across Seychelles.

The initiative will leverage Airtel’s mobile communications platform to provide citizens with timely updates on road safety campaigns, traffic management measures, transport advisories and other information intended to support safer roads and more informed communities.

The partnership reflects Airtel Seychelles’ efforts to use digital technology beyond traditional connectivity services to support social impact and national development priorities. It also aligns with the Airtel Africa Foundation’s vision of harnessing digital innovation and connectivity to benefit communities.

Airtel Seychelles acknowledged the contributions of the Ministry of Transport, Ports and Civil Aviation, the Department of Land Transport and the Seychelles Land Transport Authority to the initiative, highlighting their shared commitment to strengthening road safety and public awareness.

The collaboration is expected to expand access to transport-related information through mobile communications, providing another channel for disseminating road safety messages and relevant public advisories across the country.
