Gabon Launches Digital Platform to Modernize Parliamentary Work
The platform is designed to streamline parliamentary procedures, improve collaboration among lawmakers and increase efficiency in legislative work by enabling digital management of documents and related activities.
Gabon’s National Agency for Digital Infrastructure and Frequencies (ANINF) is supporting members of the National Assembly in adopting digital tools to modernize legislative work through a new platform for managing parliamentary activities.
The initiative began on October 19, 2026, when National Assembly Speaker Michel Régis Onanga M. Ndiaye officially launched the digitalization process through the Legislative Work Management Platform (GTLAN). The launch included the symbolic presentation of digital tablets to members of parliament.
ANINF experts, under the leadership of Director General Alberto Mounguengui Moudoki, conducted training sessions that concluded on October 20, 2026. The training covered access to the platform, the use of its features for legislative activities, including committee reviews of proposed texts and government hearings, and real-time collaboration on amendments to legislative documents.
The platform is designed to streamline parliamentary procedures, improve collaboration among lawmakers and increase efficiency in legislative work by enabling digital management of documents and related activities.
The initiative aligns with President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema’s broader vision of using digital transformation to modernize public institutions.
Through the deployment of GTLAN and the accompanying training, ANINF is reinforcing its role in supporting the government’s digital transformation agenda and strengthening Gabon’s digital sovereignty.
