August 6, 2025
1 min read

This service aims to empower users to stay connected wherever their journey takes them, whether for streaming, uploading content, or managing logistics.

Stellar Link, a new service in South Africa, is now offering portable satellite internet rentals, providing high-speed connectivity in remote and off-grid locations. The service, which uses Starlink satellite technology,  is designed to meet the needs of individuals and businesses that require reliable internet where traditional networks are unavailable.

The company’s rental terminals are described as quick and easy to set up, making them ideal for a wide range of uses, from outdoor adventures and pop-up events to temporary work sites and media production teams. Stellar Link offers flexible rental options, including daily, weekly, and monthly plans, with nationwide availability across South Africa.

Stellar Link has clarified that while it utilizes Starlink technology, it is not affiliated with SpaceX or Starlink. The company provides a rental service, giving customers access to fast, stable connections without the commitment of purchasing their own hardware. This service aims to empower users to stay connected wherever their journey takes them, whether for streaming, uploading content, or managing logistics.
