Botswana Launches Tier III Digital Delta Data Centre as National Digital Hub

Botswana has officially launched the Digital Delta Data Centre (DDDC), developed and operated by Botswana Fibre Networks (BoFiNet), marking a major milestone in the country’s digital transformation. As Botswana’s only Tier III certified, carrier-neutral national data centre, the facility is positioned to significantly enhance the nation’s ICT capabilities.
The launch brought together government leaders, industry players, regional partners and private-sector representatives, underscoring the centre’s status as a key national asset. Senior government officials highlighted its role in supporting Botswana’s economic transformation agenda and completing the country’s ICT ecosystem, establishing a secure and modern digital backbone.
