Senegal Strengthens Telecom Sector Through Strategic Dialogue with YAS

The Ministry of Communications, Telecommunications and Digital of Senegal conducted a working visit to YAS, engaging in a constructive dialogue with a key player in the national telecommunications ecosystem. The meeting underscored the strategic importance of the telecom sector for national sovereignty, economic competitiveness, territorial cohesion, and equitable access to essential services. The Minister reaffirmed the State’s commitment to fostering a stable, transparent, and investment-friendly environment that promotes healthy competition and sustainable innovation.
Discussions also focused on sector economic balances, spectrum management, royalties, and ongoing technological transitions, guided by the work of PAENS. The Minister highlighted the government’s vision of advancing network evolution within a secure and predictable framework.
