Once fully launched, the card will enable customers to use their stablecoin balances, including USD Coin, for purchases anywhere Visa is accepted.

Lipaworld Africa  has announced plans to launch its Stablecoin Card, a payment solution that will allow users to spend stablecoins in everyday transactions. The card is currently in beta testing with a small group of users, with early feedback described by the company as positive.

Once fully launched, the card will enable customers to use their stablecoin balances, including USD Coin, for purchases anywhere Visa is accepted. Users will be able to make payments for items such as groceries, travel, subscriptions, and other services through simple methods like tapping, swiping, or paying online.

The fintech firm says the initiative is designed to simplify the use of digital assets in everyday spending by eliminating complicated conversion processes. By linking stablecoin balances directly to a payment card, Lipaworld aims to bridge the gap between cryptocurrency and traditional payment systems.

According to the company, the public launch of the Stablecoin Card is scheduled for April 30, 2026, when the product will be made available to a wider user base following the beta phase.
