Looping Binary Launches LBPay Digital Payment Ecosystem in Cameroon

Cameroon-based technology company Looping Binary  has launched LBPay, a digital payments ecosystem designed to simplify and expand access to payment services across Africa.

The platform enables users to send and receive money, manage digital wallets and transfer funds across different mobile money networks. It also supports bill and airtime payments, giving users access to multiple everyday financial services through a single platform.

LBPay additionally provides payment links and developer tools and application programming interfaces (APIs), allowing businesses and developers to build and integrate digital payment experiences into their products and services.

Looping Binary said the platform was developed to address real-world payment challenges, with an initial focus on Cameroon and an ambition to scale its solutions across other African markets.

The company described the launch as the result of an extended development process involving coding, testing, debugging, redesigning and rebuilding, and said the launch represents the beginning of a broader effort to expand digital payment capabilities across the continent.

LBPay’s launch comes as digital payments and mobile money continue to play a growing role in improving access to financial services across African markets.
