Key areas of focus included agency banking, information and communication technology (ICT), and digital transformation, with participants examining how technology and appropriate infrastructure can improve operational efficiency and enable SACCOs to better serve their members.

KCB Kenya  has co-hosted the KCB SACCOs Forum in Kericho in partnership with Imarisha SACCO , bringing together more than 80 stakeholders from the SACCO sector across the region.

Held at Sunshine Hotel, the forum provided a platform for SACCO stakeholders to exchange knowledge, network and discuss ways to strengthen service delivery and improve the overall experience for members.

The keynote address by Dr. Silpah Owich set the tone for discussions on the evolving SACCO landscape. Key areas of focus included agency banking, information and communication technology (ICT), and digital transformation, with participants examining how technology and appropriate infrastructure can improve operational efficiency and enable SACCOs to better serve their members.

KCB said engagements such as the forum form part of its efforts to deepen partnerships with the SACCO sector by sharing expertise, infrastructure and financial solutions aimed at supporting sustainable growth within the sector.
