The issuance attracted a total order book of €16 billion, nearly four times the amount raised. Orange said the strong level of demand demonstrates investor confidence in the company and its “Trust the future” strategic plan.

Orange  has raised €4.1 billion through a four-tranche euro-denominated bond issuance, as the telecommunications group moves to strengthen its financing position amid strong demand from investors.

The issuance attracted a total order book of €16 billion, nearly four times the amount raised. Orange said the strong level of demand demonstrates investor confidence in the company and its “Trust the future” strategic plan.

The proceeds from the bond issuance will be used for Orange’s general corporate purposes. The company did not disclose any specific investment or acquisition tied to the funds.

HSBC and Société Générale acted as Global Coordinators for the transaction, while Citi, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, ING, J.P. Morgan, La Banque Postale, Mizuho, Natixis and Société Générale served as Bookrunners.

The successful issuance gives Orange additional financial flexibility to support its ongoing operations and strategic priorities while highlighting continued investor appetite for the company’s debt.
