The collaboration marks Botim’s first partnership with a mobile operator in Egypt and strengthens its remittance offering across one of its top five international corridors.

Orange Egypt  has announced a partnership with botim,  the UAE’s leading fintech platform, enabling users in the UAE to send international money transfers directly to Orange Cash wallets in Egypt.

The collaboration marks Botim’s first partnership with a mobile operator in Egypt and strengthens its remittance offering across one of its top five international corridors. With more than 2 million Egyptian users on Botim, the partnership connects an established UAE-based Egyptian community with Orange Cash’s approximately 10 million users in Egypt, expanding access to convenient digital remittances between the two markets.

Through the partnership, customers in the UAE will be able to send international remittances via Botim, with beneficiaries in Egypt receiving the funds directly into their Orange Cash wallets. Once received, customers can benefit from a simple and secure digital transfer experience, with access to their funds and the flexibility to use them for a wide range of everyday financial needs, including money transfers, payments and purchases, or to withdraw cash.

“Through this partnership, Botim enables Egyptian residents in the UAE to send money 24/7 directly to Orange Cash wallets in Egypt, delivering a seamless customer experience. Orange Cash customers can conveniently access their funds through 300,000+ cash-out points nationwide, including Orange stores, ATMs, and authorized retailers. Combined with ongoing cashback offers and grand-prize promotions, Orange Cash continues to deliver greater value for everyday financial needs.”

– Ahmed El Abd, Chief Consumer BU Officer, Orange Egypt

“Digital wallets have transformed how people move money, yet they remain largely disconnected across borders. This fragmentation limits their potential to make international remittances more accessible and affordable. At Botim, we’re working to bridge that gap by building a network that connects users in the UAE directly to their families preferred digital wallets back home. Egypt is already among our top five remittance corridors, and partnering with Orange Cash, with its established reach in the market, brings us one step closer to making cross-border transfers as seamless as domestic payments.”

– Hesham Sherif, VP of Consumer Payments and Wealth, Botim

The partnership builds on Orange Egypt’s ongoing efforts to expand the capabilities of Orange Cash and broaden access to innovative, secure digital financial services. It also supports the wider drive toward financial inclusion and the adoption of accessible digital financial solutions in Egypt. With Orange Egypt serving more than 30 million customers nationwide, the collaboration brings together its extensive telecommunications and digital financial services network with Botim’s established fintech ecosystem in the UAE, spanning payments, remittances, lending and other financial services.

By combining Botim’s reach in the UAE with Orange Cash’s established wallet network in Egypt, the partnership creates a direct connection between senders and beneficiaries, making it easier for families to receive, access and manage money sent from abroad.
