The latest graduation marks another phase in the programme’s efforts to promote AI adoption across different professional fields, as demand grows for technologies that improve work processes, efficiency and productivity.
Egypt’s National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) , in cooperation with Engineers for a Sustainable Egypt , has graduated 601 trainees from the fourth batch of the advanced level of its Artificial Intelligence Ambassadors programme, which aims to equip non-specialists with skills to apply artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in their workplaces.
The graduation ceremony was held on October 19, 2026, at NTI’s headquarters in Smart Village, Cairo. It was attended by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Khattab, Director of the National Telecommunication Institute, and Eng. Mohamed Kamel, President of the Engineers for a Sustainable Egypt Foundation, alongside representatives from both organisations.
The latest graduation marks another phase in the programme’s efforts to promote AI adoption across different professional fields, as demand grows for technologies that improve work processes, efficiency and productivity.
The advanced-level training covers modern AI concepts, deep learning, data-driven decision-making, generative AI applications and natural language processing. Participants also receive training in productivity tools, intelligent automation and predictive analytics, with an emphasis on practical applications relevant to their respective fields.
The Artificial Intelligence Ambassadors programme seeks to expand access to AI knowledge and skills among different segments of society, enabling participants to translate their training into practical solutions that improve workplace performance and support digital transformation.
The initiative forms part of Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology’s broader efforts to strengthen the country’s digital capabilities and promote awareness and adoption of artificial intelligence technologies.
